Miriam Schwab, Friendly CEO
Miriam is recognized as a leading developer on the WordPress platform and regularly lectures and serves as a web marketing evangelist and resource to the broader internet community. Miriam was selected out of 900 applicants to participate in the US State Department’s Middle East Entrepreneur Training (MEET), Business Executive Program at the Rady School of Business, University of California in San Diego in 2009. Miriam serves on the Steering Board of Digital Eve Israel, one of the leading communities for professional women in Israel, and blogs at illuminea.com/blog and WordPress Garage.
Miriam recently led the illuminea team in organizing WordCamp Jerusalem 2010.

Rebecca Markowitz, Web Project Manager
Rebecca works directly with illuminea’s clients and leads the development and management of their web campaigns. Rebecca has been using WordPress for over 5 years and has developed over 40 websites on the WordPress platform. She has actively played a part in developing successful websites for major Jewish and Israeli organizations and companies.
She blogs about living in Israel at The Big Felafel and about her relationship with WordPress on illuminea’s WPGarage, and currently lives in Jerusalem.

Deena Levenstein, project manager
Deena creates content for illuminea including blog posts for our blog (among other things, how-tos and latest news) and customer support info. She is involved with giving courses at illuminea, supports clients in regards to website and social media management and does QA for new websites. She is also the official welcoming committee for potential clients. Deena has a background in journalism and extensive blogging experience. She has a B.Sc. in nutrition from Hebrew University and she recommends Israeli cucumbers because they’re just so good. Check our HaBitza, her blog about dating.
