Miriam Schwab, CEO

Miriam manages all day-to-day operations and services for illuminea. Born in Toronto, Miriam moved to Israel over ten years ago and her fluent Hebrew skills enable her to communicate clearly with Israeli clients. She brings to illuminea an English degree with honors from Bar Ilan University as well as experience in marketing writing, blogging, web design, social media and online marketing. She has witnessed the growth of illuminea through increased clientele and the expansion of services available. Miriam is an expert in the WordPress blogging platform, and writes a blog on it at WordPressGarage.com.

Miriam lives in Jerusalem with her husband Danny and their children.

Rebecca Markowitz, Project Manager

Rebecca works directly with clients and leads the development and management of their campaigns. She has actively played a part in developing successful campaigns for major Jewish and Israeli organizations and companies. In addition, Rebecca implements illuminea’s web, blog, and social media projects, bringing them from concept to reality. Rebecca graduated from Rutgers University with a dual degree in Marketing and Art History. She blogs at The Big Felafel and on illuminea’s israelplug, and currently lives in Jerusalem.

Yitz Woolf, Creative

Yitz designs for both web and print projects. He is known for incredible productivity in design and production, and has gained a reputation among illuminea’s clients for reliably delivering results. He previously worked as a freelance designer in Toronto. Yitz has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Touro College and a Web Master/New Media certificate from Toronto Image Works. He also studied at the School of Visual Arts, New York. In his spare time, Yitz develops his photography skills and plays the saxophone. He is currently taking piano and mosaic lessons from his sister Chavi, a piano teacher and mosaicist living in Chashmonaim, Modiin Ilit.
